I play golf, tennis and I ski. Even with contacts, my vision would blur. My astigmatism made it difficult for me to focus all the time. Now, with no astigmatism and 20/20 vision in each eye, I have never seen the golf or tennis ball better. I don't have to worry about wind and cold affecting my lenses. For me, being able to watch TV in bed and fall asleep without worry of glasses or lenses is a joy. I don't have to worry about whether to wear glasses or lenses depending on weather conditions or what activities I have planned. The most important surprise since this surgery is how good my vision is after having to wear glasses since age 4. (48 years) It is truly a miracle! |
